Hello and Happy Monday! It’s been a long time since I have written a blog post… way too long! Weeks, months… Why? Well, to be honest…LIFE! I have to admit, I have had a lot of difficulty trying to manage my time. I still struggle with it every day but slowly and surely, I am getting there. I wear many hats… wife, mother, daughter, interior designer, business woman, entrepreneur…just to name a few. But it’s time and I am ready and willing to dedicate the time I need to bring in new content to my blog because I have sooo many things I want to share with you! 🙂
They include everything from project reveals, behind the scenes look at my design business, brand collaborations, how-to advice, my favorite finds and so much more. Thank you for hanging in there with me. I am excited to get started and would love for you to join me on my blogging journey. I hope to fill you with lots of ideas and inspiration along the way.
Speaking of blogging…
To start things off this week, I would love to introduce you to Tana Nelson from Your Marketing BFF. She is the beauty and brains behind my website and blog design as well as my go-to girl for all things marketing and tech related. Tana and I met through Instagram. I followed her, she followed me, we commented on each other posts and I secretly stalked her website as I was gearing up to redesign my own website. One day, I posted a photo of my kitchen and wrote a little story behind what made me decide to start my own interior design business. Tana commented immediately saying “let’s chat” and put her phone number in the comment. I had to call her and I am so glad I did. After a few phone calls and emails, we found out that our style was exactly the same! Tana was my #instasister! I decided to pull the trigger and have her design my website because I knew, that she knew, exactly what I was looking for. And boy, did she deliver! Tana created a platform for me where everything from design services and portfolio images to blog posts and press releases, was put into place so I could take my interior design business to a whole new level. She even wrote a blog post on our creative collaboration. (Click here to read all about it). More importantly, not only did I receive a great looking website and blog, I also gained a dear friend in the process. Tana has been blessing to me and my business and I am so grateful to have her in my life and so proud of her accomplishments.
Tana is a wealth of information. She has taught me so much but I still have so much to learn from her. I am so excited to announce that she has written her first e-book, “How To Start A Blog”. If you are thinking of starting a blog or already have a blog and want more information, Tana breaks it down into seven easy steps to build a solid foundation with tips, tricks and all the tools necessary to create and start your own successful blog. I know you will love the book (and Tana) as much as I do! To learn more and get your copy, click here. Happy blogging!
Stay tuned…next week, I will be revealing one of my favorite projects.
